"Please Love Party” is a forbidden double experience.
The first is to have synthesized a love drug in the laboratory, in the form of a powerful psychotropic, and to have made "homeopathic" versions of it, via the transfer of molecular information in water. In this water, no trace of this drug is any longer observable by the means of current science.
The second experiment is a reconstituted evening where about twenty subjects agreed to be observed by cameras, drinking only water "informed of this love drug".
The film Please love Party is the observation of this experience via a scientific protocol in the laboratory and its diversion into a poetic version.
What is love ? For the biochemist, these are two molecules: oxytocin and phenylethylamine. According to the controversial theory of water memory, water could store molecular information via waves, functioning like a vibrating hard disk. From this principle derives homeopathy, whose science attributes the results of experiments to the placebo effect.
